*RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIINNNNNGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!*
'Ugh... Another day, another pathetic excuse for a dollar,' Rosalee thought as she crawled her way to the shower. She looked at her clock and read "December 22. 7:00 AM". Just as she was about to go into the bathroom, her mom calls.
"Hello, mom," Rosalee says, trying so hard not sound like a jerk to the woman that gave birth to her.
"Rosa, dear, I think I'm dying. You work at that clinic, right? Tell me, what does it mean when your tongue is green?"
"Mom, I don't really have time right now. I have to get to work."
"Rosa, please. I'm scared." And then, the unthinkable happened: her mom started to cry.
"No, mom, please. Don't cry." Thirty minutes pass as Rosalee runs up her phone bill and tries to consolidate her mother.
"Okay. Love you. Mom, I said I lo- yes. Okay. Mom, I- Bye."

Rosalee looks at her clock and sees that it's 7:30. "OH CRAP, I'M LATE!"
Rosalee rushes to get ready, showering, brushing her teeth, and hair at the same time. When she came out of the bathroom, it was 7:45. 'Oh, Clara Kate is gonna be so mad at me.'
Rosa quickly got dressed and ran out of the apartment, only to be hit by freezing weather and snow. She crossed the street as she struggled to come up with a better excuse than being distracted by her mom's constant need for attention. Then, she saw the blind man, dressed in a Santa suit and ringing a bell. Seeing as though she's already late, she decided to donate some money to the Salvation Army. As she put all the change from her pocket into the bucket, the blind man screamed, "I'm singing! I'm in a store and I'm siiiiiingiiiiing! I'm in a store and I'm siiiiiingiiiiing!" As she walked into the clinic, she kept her mouth quiet, to avoid saying the wrong thing. She went to her desk as Clara Kate stared at her. Just as she sat down, Clara Kate snapped.
"Rosa, what do you think you're doing? You are a whole hour late..." Clara Kate continued to yell, speaking in languages Rosalee didn't even know existed and saying words that would make the garbage man blush. Rosalee didn't know what to do. Does she argue back? Does she just sit there and take it? As an expression of pure shock and fear appeared on Rosalee's face, Clara Kate continued to yell. Then, out of nowhere, Shaniqua Washington King appeared and tackled Clara Kate.
"SHANIQUA?! WHY'D YOU HIT MY BOSS?!"
"Because she got everyone sick, and SO DID YOU!" Then, Shaniqua punched Rosalee in the face. Rosalee stepped back, clearly shocked by her friend's act of violence.
"Shaniqua, you need to leave. NOW!"
Shaniqua walked out calmly, as if nothing happened, as Rosalee rushed to call for help. The nurses came in and checked Clara Kate pulse.
"I don't have a pulse. Let's get her out of here!"
As they rushed Clara Kate out of the clinic and into the ambulance, Rosalee followed, clearly wanting to know if her boss was going to make it. As she sat in the back of the ambulance with one of the nurses, they went over a speed bump, causing a glass jar to fall and hit Rosalee on the head. Having been hit twice within the half hour, Rosalee fell over, not being able to take the constant pain.
"We've got another accident back here," the nurse yelled, as Rosalee slipped into the darkness, finding her way towards a bright light.
